irrigation 2am

This is a signature sound of where I live. As a kid I used to lay in bed on summer nights and be lulled to sleep by the sound of irrigation pumps and falling water in the fields around our house. The crops are different now, but the sound is the same... This was recorded from my patio with the Sony D-50 at 2am 6/25/11. The field is about 1/2 mile away as the crow flies. I hope you like this little slice of life from Extreme South Jersey.
